You can easily create a simple and classy candle stand out a waste plastic bottle. Cut the top portion of the plastic bottle. Paint it as per your color theme requirements. (2) Glass Jars:

Glass jars can be recycled into elegant candle stands after recycling. Clean the glass jar and decorate the external walls of the jar using acrylic or glass paints. You can paint any pattern or design. Now place in a small height candle inside. There you have you elegant glass jar candle stand.

(3) Vine bottles:

Although normally a person won’t think of a vine bottle as some sort of a candle stand but this is one great DIY recycling idea. A vine bottle can be converted into a tall candle stand by taking of the labels, adding some decoration and placing a candle in the mouth opening of the bottle.

Although tin is a lighter metal and tends to heat up and metal due to exposure to heat or fire. But Tin cans can surely be used as decorative candle stands. You can create an amazing design by cutting stripes in the middle of the cans. Press the top of the can downwards to create a bending effect on the metal strips in the center. Simply place a small candle inside, on the base of the tin can to make it a candle stand.
